fantasy football league, Fantasy Football, nfl, msn, facebook
I belong to three Fantays Football leagues. I'm playing in the NFL.com, the MSN.com, and the Facebook Fantasy Football leagues. Two weeks into the Fantasy Football Season and I am 0-2 in the NFL league, and 1-1 in both the MSN.com and the Facebook leagues. The 0-2 is par for the course in the NFL league and the way it is supposed to be in the other two leagues.
I need receivers in the NFL League. And I had Tomlinson as my running back and he is injured. PUNK ASS!

L Word, Video, freak, freakybehavior
I have a friend who is starting a new Social Networking site called Freakybehavior.com. It is similar to Facebook and Myspace. The tag line is "What's your Freak Song?" and she wanted me to create an L Word video that had "Freak" in the title.
So here is an Allthingslword.com L Word Relationship Cast Video with "Freak" in the title. The Song is called "Freak'in You" by Jodeci. This will probably crash my server, so if it is down, check back!
The video would get deleted on you tube which is why I'm not going to put it there!!!

Let me explain first!!!
When I first saw this pictures, I busted up laughing. Forgive me, but I like to laugh. And if you make me laugh, it's all good. I've seen a guy with the "Why Lie, I need a Beer " sign, and I stopped and bought him a beer. He was on a street corner in Point Loma, California. I saw the sign, I cracked up laughing, made a u-turn, asked him what kind of beer does he drink, parked my car, bought him a beer, and gave it to him! If I see anyone else with a funny sign, I'm going to give them some money too. You can decide for yourself if you think the signs are funny or not!

Christian, giving, helping, homeless
I had an experience the other day I feel compelled to share since I am in a bad situation financially and am working toward helping the homeless situation for others as well as myself potentially. I made a few phone calls the other day to charitable organizations. I was asking for assistance in helping pay my rent for the money of September.
After several attempts at the Catholic Charities I finally got through. I told the person on the phone my story and was told that unless I am already late on my rent there is nothing they can do. I also was told that even if I call the day after my rent is late that there is a 2 to 3 week turn about time before I will actually have my rent paid.
Then I tried another number I was given for an organization that is more localized here in the desert. I was told by this organization that they cannot accept any application until 5 days before the rent is due. I was told the turnaround time was at least 3 weeks before the rent would actually be paid.
Mind you I got these phone numbers from an organization that says to call if you are at the risk of becoming homeless. If I indeed follow this course of action to receive help from these organizations, I will in face end up homeless as I have a 3 day no pay clause in my lease which states on the 4th day after nonpayment of rent, I can in fact be told to leave.
My mission in life is to help others. Lately my mission has been directed towards helping the growing problem of homelessness. I am part of an organization that is working towards stopping homelessness all together. The plan involves putting people in a place to live before they ever hit the streets. As long as the organization that give help for payment of rent have these stops in place that prevent the problem from happening before it actually does, there will continue to be this problem with people being put out of their homes.
I share this story as a way of showing that money donated to an organization is not always available in the way some may want the money to be used. If you know of someone who is at risk of losing their home, please consider helping them directly as that may be actually what saves them from an experience on the streets that will change the entire course of their life.
In God I trust.

I’ll admit it. I don’t like Kobe Bryant, henceforth to be called BLOBE. He’s selfish and rarely thinks of anyone but himself. And even when he is doing something “nice“, it always looks like it’s being done for his benefit. Call me a hater, call me whatever makes you justify his bullshit. I don’t like him and never will. And his latest stunt proves my point.
Blobe is charging people $25.00 to visit his website. YUP! He’s charging people to visit his website. And this is the reduced price. It was $50.00. In an economy where for a lot of people, $25.00 much less $50.00 is money that they can’t afford to waste, he is charging a fee to see his site. And what do you get for your money? You get
1. An exclusive KB24 T-Shirt
2. Access to exclusive content including videos, audio and photos
3. Members-only access to exclusive contests.
4. Access to exclusive KB24 events
5. Access to member only message boards, blogs, social network.
6. Exclusive access to KB24 events (chat/blogs/live video/listening party, meet & greets etc).
Most of BLOBE’S fans are kids who can’t afford to spend $25.00 to find out what he ate for breakfast. Or to hear that he is going to the gym to shoot 1000 jump shots. So that fee will probably fall on parents to have to hear the incessant asking, begging, and pleading for the money to access, Blobe drivel. But you’re right, I’m a hater!
I have created a number of websites and host them. That is some of what I do. So BLOBE or “his people” can’t say that the reason they are charging to access the site is to cover costs. At best, once you buy the domain name, less than $10.00, and get a hosting account, less than $500.00 for a virtual dedicated server, and get the site created, much less than $1000.00, there aren’t any other costs except to update the material. And you can pay someone $50.00 a month to do that. So the cost to create, and host a site is less than $2000.00 a year. Blobe can’t afford $2000.00?
I won’t even bring up that a possible RAPIST is being touted as a role model. Or that an ADMITTED SNITCH is given props. It’s galling that someone who easily makes 20 million dollars a year with salary and endorsements, would charge a fee to visit his site. Especially when he knows that many of his fans are kids.
Like I said, a REAL CLASS ACT!
